We at ELAC SONAR, a global player in hydroacoustic and sonar system technology for naval defence, are delighted to announce a significant milestone in the construction of our new office and production facility, to be named ELAC Cube. Located in Kiel-Holtenau, this state-of-the-art facility marks a pivotal moment with the completion of its ground foundation.
ELAC SONAR’s Managing Directors, Mr. Bernd Szukay and Mr. Ole Schneider commemorated this achievement by placing a time capsule filled with memorabilia into the foundation, symbolizing the company's rich heritage and promising future.
"ELAC SONAR is thrilled to mark this important step in the development of our new headquarters," said Ole Schneider.
"This milestone reinforces our commitment to our naval customers and enhancing our capabilities to develop and produce cutting-edge SONAR technology.” Said Bernd Szukay.
The ELAC Cube, designed with sustainability in mind, is set for completion in 2025, and will create job opportunities and boost the local economy.
